Job Details:
The position requires a passion for analytics and knowledge of key digital analytics and BI tools. Preferred applicants will excel in strategic and critical thinking, analytical ability to solve complex problems and creative approach to problem solving. The candidate will have academic or industry expertise in area of analytics as well preferably in areas of digital communications.
Responsibilities:
*.Work with Senior Manager of Analytics, the Strategy team and clients in designing campaigns, reporting requirements and development of ongoing reports.
*.Gain understanding of client’s business and their marketing goals
*.Design and perform campaign/line of business analysis, interpret results and develop recommendations for internal and external stakeholders
*.Apply various quantitative methods to combine and interpret information from multiple data sources
*.Create report templates using Excel, Powerpoint or using visualization tools
*.Develop presentations for internal teams or for clients
*.Determine key insights and actionable items to improve campaign performance
*.Analyse social media performance and develop recommendations on optimizing creative
*.Present recommendations to internal and client stakeholders
Qualifications:
*.Bachelor’s Degree and a background in scenario and statistical analysis preffered ( E-Commerce, Analytics, and or Marketing
*.1 - 3+ years of experience in a related role
*.Advanced Excel user (advanced formulas, formatting, VBA & Macros, format conditioning, pivot tables)
*.Knowledge of, and experience working with Google Analytics, Adobe/Omniture
*.Experience working with Facebook Insights, Twitter Analytics, YouTube Insights
*.Good understanding of Online Advertising and/or Search Marketing, and Social Media Marketing
*.Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ideal candidate will be comfortable translating findings into client ready documents and presenting them internally and to clients.
*.Strong interpersonal and multi-tasking skills
*.Knowledge of Database management and experience with SAS, SPSS, R, SQL would be an asset
*.Experience with visualizations tools (Tableau, MicroStrategy, etc.) would be desirable
*.Understanding of tagging and coding would be an asset
*.Knowledge of SEO is an asset ral understanding of advertising, communications and design..
