Job Details:
It is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic individual who will be part of the tax reporting & compliance team based in Dublin. The individual may also be required to support the tax advisory teams from time to time depending on business need.
Key Responsibilities:
*.Assisting with the preparation of tax provisions as part of both the year end and half year end process for subsidiaries and the Group
*.Preparing tax computations for a range of Irish and UK subsidiaries, filing relevant tax returns and dealing with any Revenue queries
*.Assisting in tax compliance reviews across different tax heads in businesses units throughout the Bank of Ireland Group
*.Replying to ad hoc queries including researching the relevant topics and preparing the appropriate advice for review
*.Providing support on ad hoc projects in both Group Tax and the wider finance community
*.Working with colleagues across the Group, ensuring effective collaboration, communication and development of solutions
*.Providing tax support across different tax heads to Bank of Ireland business in respect of a wide array of issues and projects
*.Contributing to a high performing team that is rising to the challenge of a changing financial environment
Essential requirements:
*.Qualified Accountant and/or Qualified Tax Professional
*.Detailed knowledge of tax legislation and current Revenue practices
*.First class numerical and technical analysis skills
*.The ability to interpret and understand financial and business information and make the associated recommendations for action
*.Demonstrated experience of delivery to tight reporting deadlines
*.Ability to manage a broad and varying portfolio of work
*.IT skills particularly with regard to data analysis and presentation
*.Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
*.A logical and organised approach to work
*.Adaptable and Flexible

*.AlphaTax experience an advantage but not essential...
