Forbes is seeking a detailed driven, creative thinker to join our design/front-end team as aDigital Designer. This person will help build and maintain the world's #1 business news site and custom print initiatives. You’ll work closely with our Brand, Marketing and Custom teams to create the user experience connecting readers to Forbes content – in all Forbes product form factors.
Requirements:
*.Bachelors of Arts in Graphic Design, Art or related field
*.1-3 years of experience in digital/interactive design.
*.A passion for strong, clean, usable design.
*.A strong understanding of usability, grid systems and typography.
*.Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, InDesign).
*.Experience designing for print, web, mobile, and social media.
*.Working knowledge of HTML/CSS (hand-coding is desirable).
*.Knowledge of dynamic scripting methods such as Javascript/Jquery is a HUGE PLUS.
*.Ability to work efficiently on multiple projects and meet tight deadlines..
