Job Details:
To plan, direct and manage marketing campaigns for APAC risk, regulatory and financial summits. This individual contributor is responsible for the design, planning and execution of marketing activities supporting the APAC regulatory summits, driving attendance (paid and free) and sponsorship of these events, and assisting with post-event marketing campaignsResponsibilities
- Responsible for assisting with planning and delivery of summits / events / seminars
- Responsibility for some on-site delivery aspects of summits / events
- Provides specialized expertise on regional and sub-regional summits, and has ownership of multiple or high impact marketing campaigns in order to develop attendance, involvement, drive business results and build brand equity through summits
- Ensures successful planning, implementation, and execution of marketing campaigns for summits; tactics, timing and measurement of marketing campaigns, post event follow up campaigns and overall awareness of the summits across the region
- Works closely with and supports the work of the digital marketing team to develop brand, attendance and revenue for the summits
- Manages creation and upkeep of all event websites, including all updates etc required on these
- Receive and assess regular event registration reports and make necessary adjustments to marketing campaigns to achieve best possible registration response
- Demonstrates marketing expertise to provide marketing guidance on business decisions
- May manage budget as relevant in marketing activities
- Ensures fast, clear communication of all relevant Marketing activities and tools to relevant stakeholders, and collects regular feedback
- Measure and report against key criteria, as defined on an event by event basis
- Assist in the creation of new ideas/approaches to effectively enhance the communication of key messages
- Assists with many aspects of event planning and delivery – from liaising with event suppliers, to onsite assistance with event management
- Works closely on technology delivery for summit series, but pre and during events
- Interacts with Sales Management, Channel Management; Product Management; Business Unit Marketing; Vendors
- Strong working relationship with risk marketing team across the region, summits team and digital marketing team
- Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
- Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for driving summit success (as defined by summits team). Interacts with senior internal and external personnel
- The role has direct oversight of day-to-day marketing activities with the support of summits and marketing resources
- May lead a small group on implementing projects with manageable risks and resources requirements
- Responsible for evaluating and advising on event suppliers – both technology and “traditional” services, and recommending business partners such as venues etc
- Gives advice to management on functional matters, or on the interpretation of policies and practices
- Monitors costs of work and may manage partial summit budgets
