Main Purpose of the Job
The Financial Operations Manager plays a lead role in Treasury; Insurance and Pensions management. He/she is responsible for liquidity and forex management in liaison with Global Treasury Centre (GTC), Insurance policy management and co-ordinates Pension activities.
Key Responsibilities
Treasury Management:

Manage company liquidity through accurate forecasting and planning to meet arising obligations
*.
Manage funding costs by analysing, monitoring and taking appropriate actions to minimise overall cost of funds such as overdrafts, loans etc
*.
Ensure proper facilities are in place with the banks for different financing needs.
*.
Manage forex exposure through hedging in line with the forex policy and ensure exposure is within mandated limits
*.
Support the GTC dealers by booking forex deals in the treasury dealing kit and ensure proper funding of the accounts for deals to be processed.
*.
Maintain beneficial relations with the banks and follow up on queries raised.
*.
Maintain a close relationship with the Global Treasury Team, follow up on queries raised, update the GTC team on all matters treasury and obtain advice as appropriate.

Ensure control of bank access and SAP approval access by managing addition and deletion of signatories.
*.
Monitor bank balances on the Daily Net Liquid Funds report to ensure balances are within global counterparty limit and for daily decision-making.

Manage the Financial Flexibility (FinFlex) process in liaison with the Financial Controller and NFD
*.
Manage the supplier financing arrangements with banks and any other similar initiatives
*.
Update the business leadership on economic changes including currency, inflation and government regulations.
Insurance management
*.
Undertake a detailed review of business risks with the aim to carry out necessary insurance covers
*.
Review and recommend the adoption of appropriate insurance policies in the context of business risks and in liaison with the appointed insurance broker
*.
Maintain Insurance relations with the broker and all our providers
*.
Update the Global insurance manager on matters insurance as and when they arise.
Pensions Officer
*.
In liaison with Secretary, co-ordinate the statutory activities of the pension schemes
*.
Lead the fund in financial compliance in liaison with the pension administrator e.g. statutory audits etc
*.
Provide financial advice on scheme changes in liaison with Financial Controller and Pensions Director
Key Skills and Qualifications
*.
Graduate (preferably of business school) and a qualified accountant
*.
Treasury dealership and operations experience
*.
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in accounting job
*.
